The Olfactory Allegory

Iris and orris root unfold like pressed powder over bare skin—dry, elegant, almost untouchable. Beneath the cosmetic softness, tobacco lingers slowly through the air: warm ash, stained fingertips, the quiet fatigue after intimacy.

Candle Care

• The First Burn: Allow the wax to melt completely across the surface to the edges of the vessel on your first burn (approximately 2–3 hours) to prevent tunneling.

• Trim the Wick: Always trim the cotton wick to 5mm before every lighting. This ensures a clean, steady burn and minimizes black smoke.

• Time Limit: Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Allow the vessel to cool down completely before relighting.

• Safety First: Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep out of reach of children, pets, and flammable materials. Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface.

• The End of the Ritual: Discontinue use when only 5mm of wax remains at the bottom. The artisanal concrete vessel can be repurposed as a timeless object.
